"A great hotel with superb beach but..........not many tourists! Not surprising perhaps given the situation in Sri Lanka. All the time Natinal Governments warn people about travelling to Trinco then this will be the case. It is possible to travel there safely without too much hassle - go and enjoy! Trinco needs tourists! I will be staying again in October... "
"This is a beach hotel but calling it a resort or club is a stretch. The rooms are fairly spartan: two single beds a bar of soap in the bathroom and that's about it. There is A/C in addition to an overhead fan a TV set which gets a few snowy channels and an enclosed glass shower in the bathroom.... "

In response to another review on this site the vast majority of people survived although it was obviously very frightening. The staff were FANTASTIC I can't praise them enough. "We spent a glorious few days here in August 2004 watching the local fishermen hauling their nets up the beautiful beach each morning swimming in the sea and the pool enjoying the splendid buffet cuisine and taking in some of the area's sights - the harbour the fort and the temple on the headland above.
